Todd Whitmore is a professor of Anthropology and Theology at Notre Dame.  He formed Peace Harvest in 2005 with Louie Andrew after asking people living in refugee camps what they needed.  Their answer was simple: peace, and oxen.

Shawn Alexander
(Okot Gum)

Chairperson

Shawn has been visiting Lamwo since 2007 and was instrumental in building the Sunflower Press project among others.  Shawn is an operations improvement consultant with experience building manufacturing plants.  He is passionate about helping rural, hard-working farmers develop value-add processing enterprises so they may better enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Chris Carlson

Treasurer

Chris fell in love with the people of northern Uganda as he helped build the sunflower press.  His passionate commitment continues in his role as Treasurer.  Chris is a management and operations improvement consultant; he supports project teams in developing business acumen and developing staff.

Tricia Bichler

Secretary

Tricia joined Peace Harvest in 2020 to help serve the people of Lamwo.  She brings a particular vitality to the team along with her technical skills in Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
